Easier for your practice. Easier for your patients.
Say goodbye to DME fulfillment.
The twiist AID System is available exclusively via the pharmacy channel, so you can prescribe it like any other pharmacy product. We handle onboarding and ongoing support, so you can spend more time caring for your patients and less time on the back end of diabetes management.
Your patients can pick up the twiist AID System at the pharmacy. Flexible access allows most people to start twiist for $0 the first month and no more than $50 each month thereafter, without having to wait for their current system's warranty to expire. Patients can switch to twiist whenever they are ready.*
The twiist AID System is the first commercially available AID system that integrates twiist Loop algorithm, which is based on Loop. Loop has shown the flexibility to improve diabetes management for people with type 1 diabetes ages 6 and up. The twiist Loop algorithm is based on Loop, which was developed by people with diabetes for people with diabetes. Loop has demonstrated clinically significant performance in managing severe hypoglycemic events, mean A1C, and mean time in range (TIR).1†

Set the target range that’s best for individual patients within the widest correction range of any available AID system (87-180 mg/dL).1-6
The twiist AID System allows users to update carb entries even after a meal, adjusting insulin delivery to match their updated entry. This is great for when patients forget to input carb entries or need to adjust based on changes during mealtimes.
With multiple ways to wear twiist‡, it fits users’ needs and lifestyles. The twiist pump weighs less than 2oz and holds 300 units, making it the smallest available pump with such a large capacity.1-6
For patients who want to dive deep into the details of managing their diabetes, they have the option to customize Meal and Activity Presets so they can adjust their correction range to help avoid glucose fluctuations around meals and exercise. Icon-based food absorption-time inputs help simplify meal entries.
Patients can use twiist in the way that fits them best. They can use their iPhone®, optional Apple Watch®, or the button on the twiist pump to bolus—no separate controller required.
The twiist AID System is the only commercially available AID system with an algorithm based on Tidepool Loop which was cleared through FDA based on real-world evidence showing clinically meaningful improvements in mean A1C and mean time in range (TIR) with reduction in severe hypoglycemia.1† With greater personalization and an adaptive algorithm, twiist can help your patients achieve tighter control in diabetes management.
‡Adhesive options for on-body wear are currently being developed.
One advanced AID system. Two innovative technologies.

Using sound waves, iiSure Technology directly measures the volume of insulin delivered, including four checkpoints along the way to help ensure precise and accurate dosing. With iiSure, the twiist AID System alerts users to blockages up to nine times faster than other AID Systems.7
The twiist Loop algorithm automatically adjusts basal insulin delivery based on CGM readings, personalized settings, and predicted glucose levels throughout the day. twiist Loop updates a user's 6-hour glucose prediction every 5 minutes and adjusts basal insulin all day and night to help prevent highs and lows.
The twiist AID System is the first and only AID system to include twiist Loop—the algorithm based on the DIY community Loop algorithm designed by and for people with diabetes. Patients can connect their iPhone, CGM, and optional Apple Watch for adaptive and predictive insulin delivery.

The twiist pump contains the twiist Loop algorithm built-in to automatically adjust basal insulin delivery based on CGM readings, personalized settings, and predicted glucose levels to help your patients prevent highs and lows throughout the day.

Abbott's FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor measures and shares glucose readings every minute with the twiist Pump. More CGM sensor compatibility options are on the way! Senseonics is targeted for early 2026 and others will be available soon, too.

Patients can connect their iPhone and (optional) Apple Watch for discreet, app-based control. twiist is the first and only AID system with the ability to bolus through the on‑pump button, iPhone, and Apple Watch.1-6
